Waste of time!

Seriously … I was expecting something interesting. I did not want a shell for existing web apps … it is just as easy for me to leverage Chrome/Firefox/Safari existing utilities/features. I was expecting a single distributive social tool. Dont waste your energy on this junk.

Fits

What I was looking for was a tool to prevent me from having numerous "pinned" tabs in a browser open all the time or numerous menu-bar apps to represent each social network. This app fits my needs. Requested features: - Have more than one Gmail "tab", so I can keep open both my personal and google apps mail pages and receive notifications for both without constantly switching - Allow control of notifications per tab…on, off, statuses, dms, etc. For those that have/will complain that "they dont need another web shell app", read the description, look at the screenshots, and then dont install it…seriously.

Quick and Easy!

This is a fantastic app! I can only spend a few moments in social media at a time so it is nice to have it all in one place. Very intuitive.

Annoying

This app was nice, untill the developer decided to no longer update the app on the Mac App Store and now you get a message to upgrade to version 2.0 constantly in the app. Now they want you to pay for it again from thier website. Dont buy this app.

MEH.

cant respond to or post to facebook, and twitter doesnt load at al

I second Paul Ts comment - this is a ploy to get you to purchase 2.0

This is version 1.3. After purchasing this, youll find there is a 2.0 version available for an additional fee. Im sure 2.* or 3.* wont be too far off in the future. Competitors out there should exploit Grandsofts greed and develop something that includes updates (if even for a higher introductory price).

Pathetic

Nothing more than a frame with the app. No API connections, nothing special. Back to Socialite ;(

In general, a very good app。 BUT eat up your memories to 700MB

But sometimes the google+ page remains blank even if you reload it. Hope you can fix it. And it use as much as 700MB memory.

Was pretty good… but no more AppStore

Ive really enjoyed this app. It does most (but not all) that I need for social networking. Unfortunately, I was dismayed that they are no longer providing updates via the Mac App Store. Plus, this version now has an annoying add for the newer version which you can only buy via thier website. Boo. I live and work across multiple Macs and Ive found the Mac App Store to be an incredible valuable solution for access my applications across different machines. Ill be looking else where now for a similar product.

Great App !!!

I found out about Social Pro from a friend of mine and have been very happy that I did! I no longer log in and log out of different websites repeatedly. I stay in touch with my friends and family as Social Pro provides alerts for posts made on my profiles across Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. Checking emails has also become easier with Social Pro giving me all the latest updates in a single application. The instant notifications I receive from Social Pro have helped me handle all my social networking profiles in one go. The colorful notifications make it easy for me to read and quickly sort through messages and emails. I was impressed to find so many uses for an app that is free!

Data hog

This app burned through 8 GB of data plan in less than 36 hours. Ouch!

Great Program .. BUT ...

When looking at activity monitor its using 850.4 MB of RAM .. thats 8 times MORE than Finder uses …7 times more than Flash Player uses .. I have a 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 8 GB of RAM If i were to quit Social Pro I would reclaim almost 1 GB of RAM .. PLUS .. I have noticed that the longer it runs the more RAM it eats up FIx this Memory Leak and I will give 5 stars. Outside of the above issue .. AWESOME work guys .. keep it up

doesnt work

Loved this app when I got it back in August 2011- now it is horrible. It used to allow me to d google talk and now it just allows me to check my gmail email- which I can do using mail do not need the app for that- I needed it for google talk. I also used it for facebook and twitter. I kept it becasue of facebook and twitter and now the app will not open at all- so its a worthless app and I would stay away.

Great When it Works, but Buggy.

I decided to write another review because the apps behavior has changed. When its working properly, I love it, but lately it has been misbehaving. It keeps logging me out of Facebook when I did not tell it to. For twitter, I had it logged into one of my two accounts but all of a sudden, it switched to the other without my doing so. Please take the time to fix the bugs :( Im thinking about uninstalling it if things do not change.

No more updates?

Used to be a favorite app, but recently it will NOT stay logged into Google+ and its really annoying to have to constantly re-login. It seems the developer has abandoned this app and further development? I hope thats not true...

Great app but keeps logging out

This is a fantastic app but often logs me out, even when I have not exited out of the app. Sometimes it logs me out of only Facebook and I have to re-log in Other times, the app will log me out of Facebook, Twitter and Gmail. For example, right now the app just logged me out of all three, but didnt log me out of Google+, so its sporadic. This is definitely a 5-star app for what it does, but its aggravating to use right now when it cant keep me logged in. Please developer, could you please fix this bug ASAP?

Love this App

I have had this app for several months now, and have absolutely no problems with. I mostly use it for Facebook. Highly Recommend!

somethings not working

Most things work ok for me but one that doent is watching enbeded video. It starts to play then the whole app creashes. There dont seem to be a email address to wrote to thier support not so good.

Decent for FB and Twitter

I only use this for Facebook and Twitter so I cant speak to its qualities with the other services it supports but for FB and Twitter it is pretty good. My only complaint is that I wish it used the rendering engines from either Safari or Firefox and supported their extensions. I hate the fact that I am back to being forced to deal with Facebooks ads, as opposed to using a browser with an ad-blocker installed.

This app used to work...

app used to be decent, now it seems to have a mind of its own… It works when it wants to...
